Symbiotic Film is proud to announce the launch of Electric Vistas, our new site dedicated to new technologies and the production of original content. Among our new exciting projects are, THE GIRL WHO KILLED GOD, a feature fim project in developement. Also in the pipeline is VIRTIGO, a streaming series in development. Editor Aldo Romero explains, "The theme of this piece is the estrangement of a group of people who knew each other at a young age or a period of adolescence and have gone on separate paths in adulthood". We are proud to announce the screening of SIMULATOR 2.0 at the 2025 Psychedelic FIlm and Music Festival. This represents a new leap in technology: a hybrid film/AI project based on the 2001 film that was featured on PBS show Reel New York. Remastered using the latest in AI technology, this digital reimagining brings new life to a project originally shot on film.

The Unseen Realm
The latest collaboration between Symbiotic film and Distopia media brings us the latest project, the streaming pilot for the sci-fi anthology show titled THE UNSEEN REALM. Produced by Dan Abella, Kendall Brown and Aldo Romero, this series is the first of it's kind, a major platform for the best in indie sci-fi soon to be available on all streaming platforms.
The Unseen Realm is a streaming sci-fi anthology show in the vein of Black Mirror and Dust, but inspired by classics such as Twilight Zone. It features a curated selected of the best shorts of The Philip K Dick Science Fiction Festival. Aldo Romero of Symbiotic FIlm recently spoke of the process of producing this show, "I’ve successfully led this project, blending traditional design methods with emerging technologies, including Unreal Engine, Virtual Reality, and AI platforms like Runway, Pika, and Midjourney". This is currently an ongoing project with the goal of getting a distribution deal with a streaming media.

The Time Sentinel
Symbiotic Film is proud to announce the inclusion of “The Time Sentinel” for the 2025 Lift-Off Film Festival in the Trendsetter Shorts category. Following the resounding success of the screenings at the PKD Film Festival, the Shock-a-Go-Go Film Festival and more recently at the Bronx World Film, Inc. at La Nacional, The Time Sentinel, Directed by Aldo Romero, Symbiotic FIlm is now in production of The Time Sentinel: The Graphic Novel.

Alert Innovation
The Alphabot, an industrial robot built to function in commercial storage facilities, was the subject of one of our most recent client projects for Alert Innovation.
Symbiotic Film employed Unreal Engine exclusively on a commercial project for the first time and did so with remarkable success. The conversion of industrial animation from 3D Studio Max to Unreal Engine was a part of this new approach. Included in this was the initial 3D industrial model, which required a significant amount of lighting and texture map conversion. Future projects will undoubtedly benefit from having lighting and rendering done in close to real time.
Rockaway Wildlife
The premiere of Rockaway Wildlife took place at The Brewery in Rockaway Beach, and it was a huge success.
This "fly on the wall" documentary explores the lifestyle and surfing scene in Rockaway Beach in New York. Director Aldo Romero characterizes this video, which was shot at New York's Rockaway Beach over the course of one summer in 2022, as "Cinematic poetry via the perspective of drone footage." The movie serves as a metaphor for contrasting the free-spirited way of life of surfers, skateboarders, and other urban wildlife with dolphins and other marine species found along the east coast.

The Chambers
The Chambers, a streaming pilot about the inner workings of a fictional supreme court, just finished extensive green screen work to create virtual set.
The Chambers – In God We Trust is a winner of numerous awards in the festival circuit including Best Web/ TV Series at the Crown Point International Film Festival, as well as others in festivals like Florence Film Awards and the Hollywood Gold Awards. An entire "virtual set" was created in Autodesk 3D Studio Max for this project complete with furniture, light fixtures desk and bookcase (including details of the law books). Lighting was carefully created to match the live action elements in the original shot which included the American flag and chairs actors were sitting in. The 3D model was composited in Adobe After Effects and Nuke to line up the shots. Post-production editing in Adobe Premiere stitched the entire scene together into one seamless sequence.
